Friesland is ideally suited for the most beautiful cycling trips. The nearby extensive Gaasterbos has numerous cycling routes through the forests and past the most beautiful villages in Gaasterland or you can cycle from Lemmer through the countryside on part of the famous 11-city tour.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting. There is complete tranquility. If you don't set an alarm, you can simply sleep through because there is no noise that will disturb you. It's enjoyment. We cycled a lot around the Frisian lakes and enjoyed all those canals and boats that you pass.

Everything has been thought of, the design has been well thought out and everything is functional, cozy lighting direct/indirect, kitchen is well equipped, lovely sofa with plaid and beds are good. The garden around the farm is beautifully landscaped and it is very quiet.
