Spacious stay
Our residence has three guest rooms, two with a double box spring and one with two single beds.
Picturesque villages
Close to interesting cities such as: Groningen, Assen and Emmen, but also the Frisian cities of Drachten and Leeuwarden with museums and lots of culture.
Modern rooms
All our rooms have been recently renovated and equipped with more comfort. There is a luxurious bathroom with bath and rain shower.
Surrounded with nature
Cycle or walk through the special Fochteloërveen. This unique nature reserve is one of the best kept secrets in Western Europe.

Special Fochteloërveen
This unique nature reserve of approximately 2500 hectares is one of the few and best-preserved raised moor areas in Western Europe. An un-Dutch silence, vast views and endless space reign here.

From the Fochteloërveen you can easily cycle to special villages such as Veenhuizen 'the World Heritage Colony of Benevolence 'Veenhuizen', Appelscha and the beautiful nature reserve 'Drents-Friese Wold'. Nice holiday home, fully equipped, cosily furnished. Good beds and spacious bathroom, nice private terrace. Cordial hosts.
The cottage is in a beautiful setting. There is complete tranquility. If you don't set an alarm, you can simply sleep through because there is no noise that will disturb you. It's enjoyment. We cycled a lot around the Frisian lakes and enjoyed all those canals and boats that you pass.

Stayed 4 nights in this B&B. It was a wonderful stay for us and our two dogs. Lots of space, cozy living room, spacious bathroom, good beds and a delicious breakfast. Walking area to walk the dogs is right outside the door. Super handy if you don't want to go far. There is a lot of privacy both inside and outside. Very worthwhile, also to go back again. Unfortunately the weather was a bit against but that was more than compensated by the cozy living room.
